The Isotherm ASU 125-liter pump-driven refrigeration unit combines performance and advanced technology for optimized onboard cooling. It can operate in automatic mode (NORMAL.AUTO) to maintain the temperature while minimizing battery consumption, or in manual mode (MAN.TEMP) for customized temperature settings. Start-up and shutdown, as well as mode selection, are controlled by a three-way switch with indicator lights showing the system status.
Equipped with a BD35 compressor , the system offers stable and reliable cooling. Its 2L eutectic plate evaporator measures 300 x 210 x 60 millimeters, and the condensing unit 210 x 135 x 155 millimeters. The included piping length is 3 meters for the air and water pump units, and 1.5 meters for the through-hull compressor with 3 meters for the through-hull evaporator.
The maximum current draw is 4.8A at 12V , measured in a half-full cooler with adequate insulation. Reference temperatures are +4°C in the cooler and 22°C for ambient air or water, ensuring reliable and measurable performance.
