The Isotherm ASU 125-liter air-cooled unit combines performance and advanced technology for demanding sailors. Thanks to its automatic or manual operation, the system intelligently uses excess available energy to maintain cooling while minimizing battery consumption . Compact and reliable, it guarantees extended autonomy and optimal comfort, even on long voyages.
Equipped with a BD35 compressor , the unit provides stable and efficient cooling. Its 2L eutectic plate evaporator measures 300 x 210 x 60 millimeters , and the condensing unit 270 x 160 x 155 millimeters , ensuring secure mounting and optimal heat dissipation. The supplied 3-meter length of piping facilitates installation in various refrigerated compartments.
The maximum current draw is 5A at 12V, measured in a half-full cooler with proper insulation, ensuring reliable energy efficiency. Reference temperatures are +4°C inside the cooler with an ambient temperature of 22°C.
Automatic Start-Up (ASU) systems are designed to optimize energy management in onboard refrigerators. Easy to install, they integrate seamlessly with ISOTHERM refrigeration equipment and ensure quiet and efficient operation for onboard food preservation and refrigeration.
