Lasdrop Gen 2 mechanical shaft seal 45 millimeter shaft diameter and 70 millimeter stern tube diameter. The Lasdrop Gen2 mechanical seal creates a perfect seal thanks to the friction of a stainless steel ring on a carbon ring.
Unlike the competition, thanks to its unique design, the Lasdrop seal leaves no mark on the shaft (no set screw to hold the stainless steel ring on the shaft), and creates a constant seal thanks to the spring which compresses the stainless steel ring on the carbon ring.
The Lasdrop Gen2 mechanical seal is 100% waterproof, more reliable and more durable than the competition.
The traditional bellows is also replaced by a premium silicone hose, eliminating the usual wear of the bellows.
