Specifically formulated to reduce the risk of failures due to water infiltration into the gear case.
Synthetic additives suitable for extreme pressures protect gears from metal-to-metal contact.
Since there is no industry-wide standard for marine gear oils, it is essential to use products like Quicksilver High Performance Gear Oil that has been specifically designed and tested for marine applications.
