The S5100 is our first sonar module to offer three fully independent sonar channels. It guarantees true simultaneous coverage of up to three different depth ranges and gives you remarkable performance at every scale. Connect three single-channel transducers, or pair a dual-channel and a single-channel, to get the ideal sonar coverage for the areas you're fishing and the species of fish you're targeting. Since the three sonar channels are completely independent, it is possible to display different frequency ranges simultaneously on a single split screen.

Sharper target resolution and wider coverage
CHIRP technology uses frequency-swept pulses to improve target resolution and noise filtering compared to traditional single-frequency sonar. Thanks to the S5100's advanced CHIRP technology, you'll enjoy a clear view of the bottom without any mid-depth noise or clutter. The S5100 is also compatible with Airmar's wide-angle CHIRP transducers. These provide better coverage of the upper water column and are perfect for targeting pelagic species. Wide-angle transducers are also effective in shallow waters where conventional narrow beam angles can provide limited bottom coverage. A wider coverage area not only speeds up your search, but also makes it easier to spot individual target fish.

Compatibility with Plug & Play displays
The S5100 can be used to add sonar functionality to a Simrad modular display system or to provide additional sonar functionality on multifunction displays or fishfinders with built-in sonar technology. High-speed Ethernet connectivity makes it easy to install almost anywhere aboard boats of all sizes.
