Furuno Digital Sonar Module with BBDS1 Bottom Analyzer

Digital sounder module with bottom analyzer 50/200kHz - 600W/1kW BBDS1 Furuno Determines the nature of the bottom (rock, mud, sand, etc.)

The background analysis function is available in two presentations: Standard Mode and Probable Mode.
Standard mode offers two displays:
- Display on a graphic strip of the most probable type of bottom: Mud, Sand, Gravel or Hard Bottom
- Display on a 4-color banner.
The function of Probability Mode is to give an index of detection reliability.

The seabed is made up of very different bottoms that are often impossible to see. However, we would like to know its nature in order to position ourselves on the best fishing spot with fish or to know where to drop anchor on a suitable bottom.

The BBDS1 is a Black Box type sonar module, i.e. without screen. It connects via the on-board Ethernet network to compatible indicators. To date, the NavNet TZT and TZT2 indicators can display the nature of the bottom.

The BBDS1 helps to know the nature of the bottom by discriminating between 4 different types of bottom: Mud, Sand, Gravel and Hard bottom (Rock)

The BBDS1 is a Black Box sonar module. It connects via the Ethernet network to the NavnetTZT, TZT2 and Maxsea TIMEZERO (Optional sonar module). It allows you to display the nature of the background thanks to FURUNO's Professional Technology.
