The Piccolo 5 is the smallest, lightest and most powerful on-board generator. Thanks to its external “PMG” electronic converter box, it offers ideal power quality for all your comfort installations on board, such as washing machines, air conditioners, electric cooking appliances and many other AC-powered equipment.
Piccolo marine generators
The Piccolo range of compact generators combine the latest in diesel engine technology with a new way of producing electrical power. Instead of adding a fixed speed alternator to the rear of the flywheel, we designed a very compact permanent magnet alternator (PMA) located just behind the engine. Therefore, these systems are much smaller and lighter than traditional generators. The generator speed can be set to a position that provides the optimum balance between speed, power output, noise and vibration.
