At the top of the Pioneer outdoor speaker range, the TS-MR2040 in-wall speaker is a particularly effective solution for outdoor installation, particularly in the context of a marine installation. Indeed, each of the components of this speaker has been designed to withstand extreme conditions. Waterproof, stainless, insensitive to humidity and UV, the Pioneer TS-MR2040 adopts for its woofer a water-repellent IMPP composite membrane resistant to the aggression of sea water, humidity, as well as extreme heat. The basket is reinforced with styrene-acrylonitrile-elastomer (AES) glass fiber, a design that isolates the coil so as not to disturb the navigation instruments by electromagnetic interference.
The Pioneer TS-MR2040 speaker has also taken care of its finish thanks to a grille also treated in AES which allows it to resist yellowing caused by solar radiation. The gold-plated terminals will be completely protected from corrosion and will allow optimal transmission of the audio signal. Finally, we will also appreciate the sound performance of the Pioneer TS-MR2040 speaker offering an extended frequency response of 25-30,000 Hz.
