Target Analyzer™ uses Doppler technology to instantly detect dangerous targets

The NXT Series radars are the first radars in the world to use FURUNO's exclusive Target Analyzer™ function. Targets approaching your ship automatically change color to help you identify potentially dangerous targets. Green echoes are targets that remain stationary or move away from you, while red echoes are dangerous targets that share a collision course with your ship. Echoes dynamically change colors as they approach targets or move away from your ship. The Target Analyzer™ improves situational awareness and can increase safety by showing you targets to avoid.

Rain Fashion

When “rain mode” is activated, rain echoes are displayed in blue. This mode is particularly useful because it has the ability to detect targets obscured by rain clutter.

Fast Target Tracking™ and Auto Target Acquire™ functions

When Fast Target Tracking™ is enabled, it takes only seconds for a vector to appear once the target is selected, either manually or automatically with the Auto Target Acquire™ feature.

When the Auto Target Acquire™ function is activated, targets approaching within 3NM of your ship, which are potentially dangerous, are automatically analyzed by Doppler and trigger an alarm.

Together, up to 100 targets can be acquired simultaneously, greatly increasing safety and simplifying the estimation of the course and speed of other vessels.

Bird Fashion

The NXT series radars feature a BIRD MODE that helps you identify birds that congregate around schools of fish on the water surface. BIRD MODE automatically adjusts gain and sea settings for optimal visibility.
