The Centaure range of battery chargers feature automatic measurement determination covering 90-265VAC 50/60Hz input meaning it can be used anywhere in the world.

It is important to note that unlike many other products that feature universal state input, the Centaur range will maintain full power output within the full specified range. Other features include fully automatic three-stage charging features that ensure batteries are fully charged at all times and triple-isolated charging outputs for multiple battery configurations to suit the majority of typical installations.

The range spans 12V and 24V models ranging from 16A to 100A.

Centaur battery chargers are simple, robust and economical devices, but without compromising our high quality standards and the best performance that current technologies allow. Aluminum enclosures with epoxy coating and stainless steel hardware withstand the rigors of harsh environments: heat, humidity and salt spray. The electronic circuits are protected against corrosion by an acrylic varnish. Temperature sensors ensure that all components operate within specified limits, if necessary by means of automatic output power reduction during extreme environmental conditions.

Centaur chargers accept a very wide range of supply voltage from 90 to 265 Volts and from 45 to 65 Hertz, without any adjustment being necessary. They are therefore compatible with all common voltages and frequencies, and can operate on unstable supply networks.

3 isolated outputs allow simultaneous charging of 3 sets of batteries. Each output can provide rated load power.
The Centaur charges at full power until the output current reaches 70% of rated power, then maintains a constant absorption voltage for 4 hours. Then the charger switches to floating mode. An internal temperature sensor compensates the charging voltage by 2 mV per ºC per cell.

An internal switch makes it easy to select the voltages suitable for the main types of batteries (Lead-Acid, Gel, AGM). An ammeter on the front panel lets you know at any time the flow rate from the charger to the batteries.
